All of our staff have completed Coronavirus training to ensure that they fully understand the virus, how it spreads and how we can prevent the spread. In line with this training, we have introduced a whole new safety protocol to minimise all risk.
We are lucky in that our salon is spacious allowing our staff to operate with full social distancing in mind and when this is unavoidable due to the nature of our business, necessary PPE will be used as per government guidelines. We have split our team into shifts to minimise numbers and contact in the salon.
We will be ensuring that each room is cleaned and disinfected in between each client to minimise any risk therefore have introduced slightly longer gaps in between clients.
Following the latest government guidelines Scottish salons are allowed to perform all treatments including eyes & face aslong as both parties wear a mask. As per government guidelines masks should be worn at all times therefore lip waxing will not be available at this time.
Each of our staff members has appropriate PPE and there will be sanitising stations in each treatment room and in our reception area, which we encourage everyone to use regularly. All clients will be asked to sanitise their hands on arrival and wear a face-covering , your therapist will supply you with a disposable mask should you not have your own.
To prevent treatment times over-running your therapist can only perform the treatment scheduled for your appointment. For additional treatments you will need to make additional appointments.
Before your appointment you will receive an email explaining the new guidelines and an online Covid consultation form.
Your practitioner will use an iPad to record information and you will be asked to sign consent forms on the iPad (which will be sterilised in front of you before being given to you).
